As a result of expansion, a major international investment bank, with a major presence across Asia Pacific is looking to recruit a Business Operational Risk Manager to join its regional Operational Risk team. Excellent salary, benefits and career progression are available for the right candidate.
The Business Operational Risk Manager will be responsible for reviewing existing operational procedures and processes and contributing to the continual improvement of the risk management framework. The jobholder will need to liaise with internal staff on operational risk matters and assist with the reporting and awareness of key business procedures. Additionally the role will require the successful candidate to design mechanisms to provide assurance that key controls and working effectively and will need to oversee all internal operational risk assessments. Finally, the incumbent will assist with offshore business management issues including implementing new initiatives, policies and procedures.
In order to be successful candidates will need to have accounting and/or audit qualifications, an excellent understanding of equity derivatives and operational risk. Candidates are required to have at least 6 years relevant experience, demonstrate a professional work approach and strong problem solving and numerical skills. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the business.
