Our client is the premier manufacturer of protein supplements, nutritional beverages and performance enhancement products. They are looking for a highly talented individual to help consolidate their lead position within the Sports and Performance Community.
Role/ Opportunity

Develop an Oceania business plan that communicates a clear strategy and implementation plan to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
Own the Oceania P&L, managing to agreed Sales, GM and Operating Profit targets
Develop a focused commercial strategy for our client in the Oceania that builds a more direct approach, servicing multiple channel partnerships inc. existing distributor, national accounts, gyms, health stores, online retailers etc
Responsible for Oceania specific internet development including ecommerce fulfilment & customer service.
Develop the Oceania annual business plan
Work closely with the AsPac team to develop business cases for step change growth initiatives.
Actively participate as a member of the AsPac management team,
In conjunction with the AsPac Strategy & Marketing team, develop a marketing & promotional plan to raise awareness and trial of the brand in the Oceania.
Manage the execution of all Oceania specific activities including media spend, retail & trade promotions, consumer acquisition via online and offline channels, leveraging affiliations and gym specific activities etc.
Develop a network of key opinion formers in chosen sports through testimonials, product placement and nutrition advice.
Development and maximisation of a Sponsorship programme of Athletes and Teams that best supports the Brand image and brand awareness goals.
Build a grassroots approach to brand seeding and do education sessions with clubs etc.
Monitor competitor activity in the marketplace and issue a report monthly.
Build a team to support the growth ambitions in the Oceania Region
Skills/ Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Manager within a FMCG or related environment.
Strong involvement and/or interest in sports would be a distinct advantage
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Ability to work to stretching targets in a dynamic industry.
Attention to detail and Customer care focus.
To work closely with the distribution function to ensure all products are delivered as required by the customer.
