The Role as Senior Graphics Designer
The Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Creative Director and the creative team, and play a leadership role in creating memorable visitor experiences for museums, interpretive centers and visitor centers across Asia.
You will work as a member of an integrated team that includes content developers, graphic designers, exhibit designers, marketing specialists and the client. Main Responsibilities
Lead a team of designers
Participate in conceptual development and Illustrate design concepts through a variety of mediums depending on the projects̢۪ scope of work.
Develop designs from conceptual, ideation stage to the final design, construction design and implementations.
Work within tight schedules
Multi-task; able to lead and work on different projects at a time
Work in a team environment including sub-contractors, clients, suppliers and industry contacts
Qualifications
B.A or M.A in Graphic Design & Environmental Design with a minimum of 5 years experience in exhibit graphic design or related field (Museum studies a plus)
Proven experience in multiple phases of the design process, including conceptualization design development and implementations.
Good knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials standards of exhibit design
Typography knowledge required
High level of fluency with Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MS Office or Keynote
Exceptional organizational and communication skills (verbal, written, and illustrative)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
