Position Summary:plans, directs, and coordinates the Australia sales of Ellsworth products and services by performing the following duties
Achieve Sales targets:â¢Establishes Australian strategic marketing & sales goals to develop and achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) corporate objectives.
â¢Develops and localizes comprehensive sales & marketing plans and programs for the Australia AOP, consistent with market demands and long-term profitability.
â¢Performs key account management for major transplant business in Australia and acts as sales at the start-up phase.
â¢Recruits, coaches and develops a robust sales engineering team to develop and direct business with industrial and electronics factory end-users for the specialty chemical distribution and overseas vendors we represent.
â¢Develops and manages Australian sales and marketing budget.
â¢Conducts marketing surveys in Australia on current and new product concepts, and provides feedback for future product development related to Australian markets.
â¢Develops and Manages distributor network for 2 product lines.Vendor Management:â¢Establishes and builds productive relationships with strategic partners and vendors.
â¢Ensures we achieve the business goals agreed with our Vendors for Australian markets.Other Duties:â¢Work with and support other Asian departments to Develop business infrastructure (legal identity, logistics, finance system, offices, etc.) for Ellsworth in Australia initially.
â¢Assists Headquarters to identify potential Alliances & Acquisitions, and to facilitate negotiations.
â¢Acts as a liaison to Ellsworth Corporation and Asia Headquarters to ensure that Ellsworth's management system, practices, business ethics, and principles are properly executed in Australia.Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervises employees in Australian Sales and Marketing. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties above satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:â¢10 years work experience in adhesives, or other industrial and electronics markets, to develop direct end-user accounts and manage a sales team.
â¢Intimate knowledge of Australian market and ability to communicate seamlessly on a business level.
