Jobs Description:
The Business Consultant (BC) identifies, communicates and structures a client’s key decision-problems into a frame-work of strategic - , tactical and operational decision-problems and is able to design a comprehensive solution.
In order to analyze the client’s challenges the BC will formulate and deploy advanced operations research models. Solvers, sensitivity analysis, combinatorial optimization, time series analysis, mathematical statistics are part of the daily vocabulary. The BC will independently develop (or has the potential to develop) proto-type models using Java, C++ or similar languages or use a 4th generation modeling language to analyze decision-problems and provide comprehensive feedback to the client.
As a good communicator and having excellent presentation skills, the BC is able to direct, motivate and assist the clients with the execution of proposed solutions.
Minimum requirements:

Master degree Operations Research / Applied Mathematics (or Compensating experience in Oil / Gas / Geothermal drilling)
For Seniors; 6 years relevant working experience (consulting) in different industries in similar positions
For Seniors: 3 years proven experience with the development and implementation of advanced planning â€" and scheduling systems, including usage of common solvers
Strong personal skills, good communicator and report writer
Programming experience in Java, C++ or similar
Fluent in English (oral and written)
