Our Client is Asia’s leading provider of integrated logistics services, generating annual consolidated revenue of AU$6.9 billion and operating an extensive network of over 1100+ sites throughout more than 50 countries across the world.
Their access to transport and infrastructure assets includes road fleets, warehousing, ships, air freight capacity, ports and rail rolling stock.
These assets when combined with operational expertise and technology solutions, are aimed at driving supply chain efficiencies to deliver best practice in supply chain management for their diverse customer base.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The purpose of this role is to focus on establishing detailed costing and hence pricing propositions for Rail Road customers. This will necessitate the development of business cases and financial models in support of the propositions and the presentation and selling of these solutions to existing and potential customers. The role will also encompass cost element tracking, detailed profitability analysis and contract negotiation.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compile detailed costings and pricings for new and existing customers.
Compile business cases and financial models in support of capital expenditure requirements to deliver services to customers.
Develop and present to customers operational solutions and pricings.
Lead negotiations of supply contracts with customers as well as subcontractors.
Continually develop and enhance standard cost models used within the business.
Track cost elements to ensure correct assumptions are used in developing pricings.
Measure and report on profitability by service and by customer.
Develop relationships with sub-contract providers to the company.
Undertake cost tracking reporting for specific major capital projects.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Detailed understanding of rail operations
Exposure to road transport and warehousing operations
Understanding of wider supply chain practices
Advanced management accounting capabilities

Minimum of 8 years experience in the logistics industry, ideally with exposure to rail operations or rail forwarding.
Previous experience in commercial roles within the logistics industry.
Operational line management roles with logistics industry also desirable.


This Role is based in CAMBODIA, hence a local network isadvantageous!
