Manager, Marketing Contract (Code : MRCT)

Major Indonesian thermal coal producer is inviting  applications from qualified individuals for the following position, based in Jakarta :

Job Description :To manage the preparation of all coal sales contracts and ensure that all necessary documents are in place.Liaise with company personnel and departments, as well as external stakeholders, to achieve contractual documentation in line with commercial agreements and company policy.To establish, maintain and manage the computerization of all coal sales contracts to enable the Marketing Department to more efficiently monitor and review their content in accordance with the recent developments in the coal market.Continuously review existing coal sales contracts to ensure that they are relevant and meet the company’s long term interests.In conjunction with coal supply chain management, to provide reports on contract/tonnage performance to monitor the implementation of coal sales contracts.Provide assistance to review, establish, and maintain appropriate systems for totally automating invoicing and other documentation automation through Pit-to-Port in conjunction wi
th the IT Department.Assist in contractual negotiations with customers.Other functions as may be required.Requirements : Relevant Bachelor degree, such as Law, Mining Engineering or Commerce.Minimum of 8 years experience in a position relevant to the role.Relevant experience and legal knowledge on commercial coal sales contracts.Basic knowledge on shipping law and practices.Working understanding of the dynamics of sales contracts due to developments in the coal market and customer relationships.Regulatory knowledge on electronic filing.Proficiency in contract drafting and file/data Management.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeWork location : Jakarta (Indonesia)Interested candidates may send their application letter and CV by using "Quick Apply"Please include the position code in your email subject.Applications close on June 30th, 2011.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
