Front Office - Commodities / Derivatives trading.

This position exists due to an internalpromotion, organisation growth and increased market share.
Theapplications support team is responsible for providing business systemsupport, configuration and implementation of derivative trading systemsacross the Asia Pacific region. This is an internal client facing teamthat also interacts with external third party venders such as HP andMurex. The level of service varies from total support and responsibilityto root cause analysis and escalating accordingly.
This is aBusiness Support role that has you regularly interacting with all levelsof the business so you will need excellent communication skills toevaluate and solve problems within a front office trading environment.This role is more business / process support for the traders rather thantechnical so an intimate knowledge of the functional side of Murex isdesired. Details as follows:
Responsibilities include:

Maintenance andmanagement of system issues across Commodities and Derivatives productsbased on the Murex platform.
Developingclose workingrelationships with business stakeholders andservices providers, ensuringresolution of technical issues.
Performin an environmentwhere multi-tasking, constant problem resolutionand on-going riskassessment is the standard

Qualifications and Experience Required:

3 years minimum experience with Murex in a front office trading environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience with commodities trading.
Degree level qualifications (technology/finance or related)
Interest Rate derivatives (highly desirable)
Technical knowledge - SQL, Oracle, Unix, HTML (highly desirable)
Self sufficient, highly motivated, resourceful individual.
Be a problem owner and solver with a logical approach to solving issues.
