Responsibilities:

Translate design concepts and create detailed working documentation drawings, to include but not limited to: cable riser, mechanicals, equipment location, control systems and interfaces, wall plates, panels, patch bay layout, hookup details, system flows.
Design audio, video and control systems .
Monitor engineering hours to maintain consistency with budget.
Work closely with sales, customer and consultants to define project requirements.
Maintain internal database for equipment procurement and identify equipment lead time or functionality issues and present solutions.
Participate in design reviews with sales, customer and consultants.
Support AV architectural design and implementation â€" provide architectural review and coordination of documentation.
Conduct equipment research on new and existing technology for client applications.
Provide technical pier review and provide feedback for design improvements when applicable.
Provide support to technicians during rack fabrication and installation phases as needed.
Provide technical training to employees of client.
Providing technical assistance to clients related to operation, use and maintenance of equipment.
Review blueprints, plans and other client documentation to develop and prepare cost estimates and/or projected increases in production from clients use of proposed equipment or services.
Coordinate and participate in project transfer - conduct onsite commissioning and system acceptance testing.
Review and approve final documentation, including response to punch list items, “as built” drawings.
Qualifications:

Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
BSEE or equivalent preferred.
AutoCAD experience.
3years experience in AV systems, design and engineering.
CTS designation (CTS-D preferred).
Experience with creating and editing DSP files: Biamp and/or ClearOne (certification preferred).
Experience in Microsoft products; Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.

Summary: Responsible for the operational management and effective daily leadership and administration of the engineering team in a critical equipment environment with the objectives of safely, efficiently, and effectively operating machinery and systems in a cost-effective manner. Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls)
Responsible for the the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance on all 2,000-ton chillers, cooling towers etc and associated pumps
Utilize staff and contracting with outside vendors as necessary.
Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training and personal development Identify the maintenance objectives of the facility and incorporate those objectives into a documented plan that includes preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance procedures.
Assist in the development of a Capital plan which would include planning for infra-structure upgrades, equipment replacements and building modifications to ensure the building’s future capabilities are maintained.
Responsible for ensuring that major projects performed at the building are properly planned, executed and closed out in accordance with standard industry practices.
Maintain all infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building including up-to-date building drawings and single-lines as well as documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State or Local law.
Responsible for overseeing the activities of contractors working within the building either as representatives of the building itself or tenants operating within the buildings.
Job Requirements:

Knowledge of HVAC systems, including maintenance and repair, and skill in electrical and plumbing systems maintenance and repair. Knowledge of OSHA standards regarding all pertinent issues in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge or repairing and maintaining 2000 ton chillers including the chillers’ 11-KV electrical power and associated distribution panels
Must be a good communicator (written and oral) with the ability to interact with other professionals, clients, administrative staff, and support staff.
5+ years related work experience, including supervisory experience
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
Must be willing to travel or re-locate

Development and improvement work projects on chillers and associated equipment, cooling towers and energy conservative measures
Conduct periodic chiller plant maintenance audits and provide god quality recommendations as a result of audit findings
Coordinate and supervise the work of service contractors to ensure that the terms of all such contracts for major plants and system are fully implemented. Ensure that all outside contractors and in-house Team Members carry out their work, in accordance with and in adherence to Company, local and regional health and safety at work criteria
Prepare and update lists of spare parts and materials required for the continuous and efficient operation of chiller plant and associated equipment
Requirements

Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering and above
Registered Mechanical Engineer and above
Advance knowledge of Chiller Plant, Boiler Operation and HVAC operation and maintenance
5 years minimum experience in operating and repairing a 2000-ton chillers
5 years minimum experience in chiller water treatment and chemical applications
Good communication and organizational skills, ability to analyze and solve problems, capable of functioning well under stress and during emergencies, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to lead engineers, determines priorities, assign and delegate work and responsibility
