Responsibilities:
1. To teach a class of Primary students (English Maths, Science e.t.c.) and to coordinate with a Chinese teacher(English teacher if you are applying for a Chinese teacher position)teacher, maximum 25 students.
2. Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children.
3. To develop students’ creativity, analytical thinking skill, spirit of learning through discovery and challenges.
4. Ensure children supervision at all times for all school activities.
5. Ensure children aresupervised and their discipline maintainedat all times for all school activities.
6. Interview and assess students' english standard and suitablity for admissions.
7. Teach during the winter camp (if necessary).
8. Will be required to spend 1 to 2 hours a weekconducting ECAfor students between 3:30 to 5:30pm asafter school programs.
9. Communicate with parents frequently
Requirements:

At least a Bachelor's Degree and/ or a Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Education/Teaching/Early Childhood(a must for teaching kindergarten) /Training or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience of teaching in aprimary school or schools with PYP programme (IB).
Proficient knowledge in child development and early education theories and practices.
Creative,strong presentation, communicationand interpersonal skills.
Preferablyan English native speaker who is living in Singapore, those not residing in Singapore MUST be ready to relocate to SIngapore, if shortlisted. A Chinese native speaker, if you are applying to teachChinese subject.
You are required to start work by August 2011
