An experienced Voice Engineer who has strong understanding of their business is highly sought after by our client.
Roles and Responsibilities

Incumbent is responsible for the technical design of AVAYA Video solutions based on customer-specific requirements and environment
Support the Business Development Efforts of the Country and region they are supporting
Own (In conjunction with the BD lead) the Video number for the region they are supporting
Identify and map current customer environment including bandwidth, codec, technology (model, application, release level) and other baseline information
Work with video service technician to test and measure available bandwidth
Provide bandwidth remediation requirements (if necessary)
Create customer architecture (both physical and virtual) for current state, Phase I state and future (desire end state)
Define components required to move from current to Phase I to future states
Identify necessary integration and configuration considerations
Configure solution
Validate intra-system and inter-system dependencies
Implement system with video service technician
Train customer administration on QOS, system tuning, monitoring etc.
Key Requirements

Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years related expertise and experience
Extensive knowledge of communications architectures, protocols (H.323, SIP, etc), video technology from Tandberg, Polycom, and others.
Experience as an SE, architect etc.
Experience designing communications systems inclusive of SP and Enterprise systems IV ideally to include experience with Nortel and Avaya solutions, especially Avaya Aura
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Japanese (native) preferred
Extensive travel required
