Positionis required to manage AspenTech’s sales accounts in Australia.Responsibilities:Responsible for opening, qualifying and closing sales opportunities workingclosely with the Global Account Teams in designated accounts to contribute toand execute on the global account strategies.Develop a sales pipeline tosupport future sales and business planning.Manage the day to day salesprocess in the nominated accounts and provide sales management with timely andaccount updates, sales forecasts and take the lead in account planningactivities with other team members.Build, maintain and managerelationship with customers leading to generation of sales leads andqualification of sales accounts.Work closely with Business ConsultingManager to design solution and quantify benefit.Prepare proposal /presentation material to convince value of the solution to client's topmanagement and prepare contract leading to timely closing of salesopportunities.Provide direction and work cross-functionall
y with divisionaccount teams.Complete territory/account management to put the region ingrowth orbit

Qualifications:

Bachelordegree in Engineering or Business is necessary, master ispreferred
Minimumof 10 years related process industry software solution sellingexperience
Domainknowledge of petrochemical, oil & gas industries
Proventrackrecord of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement
Successfulsolution selling to major oil & gas or petrochemical firms at seniorlevels
Managementof cross team relationship within the company, i.e., technical consultants,marketing, etc.
Haveclosed deals greater than $500K USD
Excellentpresentation skills to executives and individual contributors either in a groupsetting, one-on-one or over the phone.
Familiarityof Aspen solutions and/or competitor's tools will be anadvantage
Willingto work long hours if necessary
TravelwithinAustralia (at least 50%)
